Personalize learning for each student

Adaptive Learning

Not every student learns the same way or at the same rate. With the growing need for acceleration through many courses, it's more important than ever to meet students where they learn. Personalized learning in the MyLab gives you the flexibility to incorporate the approach that best suits of your course and your students.

Thanks to advances in adaptive learning technology, you now have the resources to do just that. Several types of adaptive learning resources are built into MyLab Statistics, giving you the flexibility to incorporate the style and approach that best suit your course structure and students' needs.

  • Available with select MyLab Statistics courses, instructors can choose to make Skill Builder exercises available within homework assignments to give students just-in-time adaptive practice. When students are struggling with their assigned homework, Skill Builder will deliver additional adaptive exercises that help each student improve the skills needed to complete the assignment. The adaptive engine tracks each student’s performance and delivers questions to each individual that adapt to his or her level of understanding. When the system has determined that the student has a high probability of successfully completing the assigned exercise, it suggests that the student return to the assignment.
  • Personalize homework assignments for students based on their performance on a quiz or test. This way, students can focus on just the topics they have not yet mastered.
  • With Companion Study Plan Assignments you can now assign the Study Plan as a prerequisite to a test or quiz, guiding students through the concepts they need to master.

Help remediate and prepare students
