Teach your course your way—with Pearson's trusted content

Your course is unique. So whether you'd like to build your own assignments, teach many sections, or set pre-requisites, you have the flexibility to create your course easily to fit your needs.

Each course is developed to accompany Pearson's best-selling content, authored by thought leaders across the math curriculum, and can be customized easily to fit any course format.

Course-specific resources and interactive figures bring to life content written by highly respected authors—facilitating learning experiences that foster lasting comprehension.

Empower each student with personalized learning tools

Each student learns at a different pace. Personalized learning pinpoints the precise areas your students need to practice, giving every student the support they need — when and where they need it — to be successful.

  • Available for select MyLab courses, Skill Builder offers adaptive practice that is designed to increase students' ability to complete their assignments. By monitoring student performance on their homework, Skill Builder adapts to each student's needs and provides just-in-time, in-assignment practice to help them improve their proficiency of key learning objectives.
  • Set pre- or post-assignments help students practice just the concepts that they need to master. With Personalized Homework, students take a quiz or test and receive subsequent homework that is personalized based on their performance.
  • With Companion Study Plan Assignments, you can assign the Study Plan for practice as a prerequisite to a test or quiz.

Support corequisite and redesign course models

Corequisite and Redesign-Ready Course Options

Students are arriving each semester at institutions across the country without the math skills essential for success in college-level courses. Pearson offers a variety of content and course options to support students and instructors redesigning their math curriculum.

  • Available for Developmental Mathematics through Calculus, MyLab Math with Integrated Review courses can be used for just-in-time prerequisite review or for co-requisite courses. They provide videos on review topics along with pre-made, assignable skill-review quizzes and personalized homework assignments, integrated throughout your regular MyLab Math course content.
  • Redesign-Ready Course Options: Many new course models have emerged in recent years, as institutions "redesign" to help improve retention and results. At Pearson, we’re focused on tailoring solutions to support your plans and programs. In addition to the new Integrated Review courses, we offer new All-in-One solutions, non-STEM pathways, and STEM track options.

The Pearson eText companion app allows existing subscribers to access their titles on an iPad or Android tablet for either online or offline viewing.

The complete eText is available to students in MyLab Math for the lifetime of the edition. Students have unlimited access to the eText within any course that uses that edition of the textbook.

Custom Exercise Builder

The MyLab Custom Question Builder (CQB) within MyLab Math lets you create static and algorithmic online exercises for a wide variety of mathematical and statistical topics. A library of sample exercises provides an easy starting point for creating questions, and you can also create questions from scratch or edit questions from your course's online test bank.

Learning Catalytics

With Learning Catalytics, you’ll hear from every student when it matters most.

You pose a variety of questions that help students recall ideas, apply concepts, and develop critical-thinking skills. Your students respond using their own smartphones, tablets, or laptops.

You can monitor responses with real-time analytics and find out what your students do — and don’t — understand. Then, you can adjust your teaching accordingly, and even facilitate peer-to-peer learning, helping students stay motivated and engaged.
