WriteClick
WriteClick is a powerful application that encourages students to think critically about their writing, then review, edit, and revise effectively—anywhere they write.
The application instantly analyzes writing for grammar and spelling errors, provides suggestions on writing skills, and puts useful tools at the writer’s fingertips. Unlike other spelling/grammar checkers, WriteClick doesn't correct—it coaches. Students can see examples and explanations of errors and can access the built-in Writer's Toolkit that provides instruction on grammar, style, and research topics. Students also see a "Writing Review" that summarizes the overall strength of their writing, providing constant feedback so that they become more thoughtful and conscientious writers.
WriteClick won’t catch every error and it won’t fix errors automatically. However, it will provide suggestions for addressing surface-level errors and encourage critical thinking.
WriteClick is improving continuously. The underlying algorithms are enhanced weekly for accuracy and precision while new ones are added to target more errors. Pearson is committed to continually improving WriteClick.
